Oof, a mess. I misspelled "household", I biffed the top line, the previous week got a splatter of water that bled through... whoops.
BUT. LOOK HOW CUTE THE FROG IS WITH HIS ICE CREAM.
This week... kinda sucked. It felt like a very long week, and it was a stressful one. Sunday with Taylor was great, and Monday driving around with Alex was fine, but everything after that was pretty downhill. Dental stuff is never my favorite, and then work was all drama all the time, it felt like. I couldn't get very much done on creative things, and just in general... wasn't having a good time.
Goals for the week:
- I went to a baseball game with Taylor
- I had a dentist appointment
- I finally read a bit more of Seasonal Fears
- I (kinda) picked a new writing project, and got my "Set Sail" piece outlined
- I finally put the damn laundry away
- I paid our car insurance, which I kept forgetting
- And I did go to the center meeting at work
Tracked habits:
- Work - 4/7 (took Sunday off for the game with Taylor)
- Household Maintenance - 2/7
- Physical Activity - 2/7
- Wrote 500/1000+ Words - 1/7, over 500, with two additional days of less than 500
- Wrote on 2nd+ Draft - 0/7
- Meta Work - 5/7
- Personal Writing - 7/7
- Other Creative Things - 1/7
- Reading - 3/7 - With Taylor, read the Alice/Thomas short story "Build a Better", and started the novel-length "Halfway Through the Wood"; on my own read a little fic, and some of Seasonal Fears
- Attention to Media - 4/7 - Monday, watched three episodes of The Sandman which I still loved; Wednesday, can't remember; Thursday, watched an episode of Reservation Dogs and one of American Horror Stories; Friday, watched The Final Wish which was an okay horror movie, House which was a slightly vintage comedic horror that was a bit silly but had kind of charming practical monster effects, and Cell 213 which was okayish horror that required a bit too much suspension of disbelief for the non-supernatural parts for me.
- Video Games - 1/7 - playing Nier: Replicant with Taylor
- Social Interaction - 7/7
Total words written: 1296 words (751 outlining the "Set Sail" piece + 545 outlining an original thing that may or may not go anywhere.)
