Habit Tracking: Week 43 (October 23 - October 29)

Halloween theme this week, leading up to the holiday. :)

These are some more of the stickers my mom gave me from when she was going through her old teaching supplies. Cute and sparkly, and quite nostalgic.

This was a better week than I'd had lately, despite work being a pretty constant trashfire. Going to the Butterfly Pavilion and the show were both really good, and while I never quite captured all the enthusiasm I'd hoped to have for the season, it was at least closer! Unfortunately, I didn't do much of anything on the writing front, which makes me nervous heading into NaNo. That'll be a steep increase to get to par!

Goals for the week:
- I did post Chapter 9 of All Strange Wonders
- I did not get 1/3 of my second draft of my Set Sail piece written
- I didn't read more of Sparrow Hill Road; I'm afraid that's getting put on hold until December
- We did buy tickets for and then go to the Aesthetic Perfection show
- I gave up on finishing the Worldhopping Fairytale Monstrosity reread, once I decided I didn't want to work on it for NaNo
- I *thought* I'd decided on a NaNo project, but wound up changing my mind again, lol
- I didn't put laundry away
- Alex and I did visit the Butterfly Pavilion (Two more picture posts upcoming... eventually!)
- We did watch Over the Garden Wall, which was probably the best thing for my seasonal vibes, haha.

- Attention to Media - 6/7 - Sunday, half-watched the horror movies Matriarch, which got into kind of weird folk-horror territory that I swear was partially based on a much better short comic, and Abandoned, which was fairly average; Monday, watched horror movie Dashcam, which could have been good if the main character wasn't so deliberately insufferable but instead was insufferable, and thriller See For Me, which I did actually quite enjoy; Tuesday, watched Over the Garden Wall which I adore, and the first two episodes of Cabinet of Curiosities, "Lot 36", which I loved, and "Graveyard Rats", which I also enjoyed; Wednesday, watched an episode of The Handmaid's Tale, which I still feel meh about, finished The Patient, that was an ending, and two more episodes of Cabinet of Curiosities, "The Autopsy", which was a type of horror that gets to me a bit, and "The Outside", which was darkly funny while also being a bit too real; Thursday, mostly-watched two episodes of American Horror Story, which is still fairly good this season; Saturday, watched episodes 5 and 6 of Cabinet of Curiosities, "Pickman's Model" and "Dreams in the Witch House", which were both pretty solid Lovecraft adaptations, though I liked "Pickman's Model" better of the two.
