Mar. 26th, 2023 10:22 pmI want to share my handful of concert pics from Friday night, but that's getting shuffled off to tomorrow.
Today was at least a less terrible workday. It was another big class, so I was there an hour late, but that was within expectations. No other major crises.
I'm running up against the same pattern I've been feeling for a while, though. I tend to be excited for Sunday night, because that's the start of my weekend. I make good plans - usually regarding either wanting to go out (there's a Sunday goth night that would be fairly ideal for a clubbing night, though we've done/are doing plenty of going out this week!) or wanting to really settle in and get some writing done. Unfortunately, by the time I'm actually off of work, I don't want to do ANYTHING.
I think it might be a "sit in very hot water and read a book for a while" sort of a night. That's about the level of productivity I think I've got in me tonight, ha. Plus the incoming weather (overnight snow) has my hands hurting pretty badly, so the hot water might feel nice.
Oh! Bella *may* have figured out that she can tell us she needs to go out. That's been one of the difficult things with her so far. She's pretty good and has fairly few accidents in the house, but when she does, she gives NO indication that she needs to do anything. But today she went and just sat down facing the door for a bit. Alex asked if she wanted to go out, and she wiggled a bit and then sat right back down. He took her out, and she immediately had business to attend to! So we're hopeful that was an actual attempt to communicate the need and not a coincidence, ha.
She's ramped up on being a terror in the last week or two (she's so energetic! and yet shouldn't be at all active because of her bad knees!) and she's still way too bitey. She's lucky she's so damn cute.
