Habit Tracking: Week 27 (July 02 - July 08)

This week felt... kind of overwhelming. Which is frustrating, because it should not really have been overwhelming. It was somewhat busy, between a holiday, and some house chore type stuff, and then lots of admin-style stuff. It's largely stuff I even nominally enjoy, or at least don't *not* enjoy (like the organizational stuff posting fic), but it still just all takes *time.* Between trying to do all of that, having a lot of stuff here on DW to try and catch up on posting, and then also having writing I'm supposed to be doing... it's just a lot. Unfortunately, the fic writing has basically completely gotten ignored, which makes me worry that I'm not going to be able to get through everything I'd been hoping to. Yet at the same time, I really AM spending all of my time on things (not just aimless social media scrolling as a timesink.) I *can't* do more than I am, and that's a frustrating feeling.

Goals for the week:
- We did do stuff for the 4th of July/our anniversary
- Mainly including making the fancy fruit salad
- I ALMOST failed to do my GYWO June check-in, but remembered at the last minute: 3655 words written in June, bringing the YTD total to 45543
- I did start on fic posting, getting through "Potentials", "Scales", and part of AUgust 2020's fics... though I'd been hoping to get more done
- I've sort of caught up on DW posting, or at least made steady progress
- I did NOT keep up with Camp NaNo; I barely wrote at all
- Alex bought crickets for BCB
- I didn't get his habitat cleaned
- I did go to breakfast with my dad

- Attention to Media - 5/7 - Tuesday we half-watched The Plague; Wednesday we watched Jurassic Park, always a favorite, and The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, which I always loved; Thursday we watched The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor which I'd never watched because I was bitter about the recasting, and it was not as good as the first two that I love, and then The Lost World (Jurassic Park 2), which is mostly better than I usually remember; Friday we watched Alone and rewatched 1408; Saturday we rewatched Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark which remains pretty decent, Jurassic Park III, which is also mostly better than I remember, though it turns out I mix up a lot of 2 and 3, and Jurassic World which I think is WORSE than I remember.
