Jul. 23rd, 2021 08:43 pmI finally put in my PTO request for next month! I keep forgetting to nail down dates, so the acceptable time keeps getting pushed back, since I have to give four weeks notice to take the time.
But I'll officially be off (assuming it gets approved, which it should) from August 22-31, and I am very excited at the prospect of a whole ten days away.
We can't afford a real vacation, but we'll probably try to go do some stuff around Colorado. Have to pick WHAT, but it'll be good.
This upcoming "weekend" I'm planning to go hang out at Taylor's house again, so I'm looking forward to that, as well.
I'm back to that point with work burnout where I need to kind of set the little "just have to make it to _____" goals so that I don't completely lose it. Summer is always stressful, so it's not completely unexpected, but that doesn't make it more fun to deal with.
