Sep. 24th, 2021 08:59 pmMy manager texted me before I was in this morning that she'd already rage-left the office. She ran some errands, and went to one of the quieter centers that she also manages. Then texted me again a few hours later to say fuck it, she was going home.

We were supposed to go out and see a musician friend perform tonight, with him debuting some new material, and a combined birthday celebration for his partner.
Buuuuut... Alex had a longer than anticipated day on a barn job (he's doing some cleanup work for one of his trainer's friends; they bought a property that has been a bit more than they can quite handle, so fell behind on cleanup.) He was hoping about an hour or so today to finish getting it caught up, and it was more like two and a half hours.
So he was definitely not feeling up to going out.
I'm torn between being disappointed, because for a long time we NEVER missed this friend's shows, and then with Covid there WEREN'T any shows, and I want to support him, and I miss seeing people... and being glad, because I'm also tired, and sitting home in pjs eating pizza and watching TV is about my speed tonight.

My left eye has been twitching like crazy for DAYS and it is driving me nuts. That's almost always related to not getting enough sleep for me, but I feel like I have slept all right the last few nights. I'm always tired, lol, but I've slept through the night and everything.
