(no subject)

Looks like that new task that starts this weekend is likely to make me want to die. (There was definitely a non-zero part of me that wanted to respond to the email about it with "actually, I quit.") Of course, I can't quit, so.

But the "here's the list of what you can expect from customer care..." revealed that it's not JUST the emails people send, which was what I'd thought - it is ALSO our system for all missed calls from our call tracker on the website (make sure to return EVERY MISSED CALL!), the system used for all IT tickets, and the system for confirmations for certain programs.

And this is starting this weekend. This weekend, where online support person #2 (usually in both Saturday and Sunday) is out all weekend, and online support person #3 (usually in on Sunday) is out. So I am the ONLY one doing online tech support all weekend. :) :) :)

And because online support person #3 is the one that will usually be doing the customer care on Sundays, I have to do it for both Saturday and Sunday. :) :) :) :)

This weekend, where we have a large class close on Saturday (25 students finishing class/testing) AND a smaller one-day class on Sunday (10 students doing the shorter class/testing.) All of which is stuff that I have to enter into the state systems after the class is completed. :) :) :) :) :)

Plus, you know, getting all the center shit done through Wednesday because no one does my usual tasks on Monday/Tuesday when I'm out, so I have to do it on the weekend.

And gee, since we have so many people out this weekend, everyone needs to make sure to answer more calls than usual, and aim for higher sales!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
