A dreadful urge to be merry.
Dec. 6th, 2021 10:08 pmI was gonna post another of my habit trackers (still a few to go before I'm caught up), but then I did stuff.
This was me today, lol.
We bought some holiday cards while we were running errands today, because Alex has friends in Germany and Norway that he wants to send cards to, and so we're already likely cutting it close on them getting them even close to on-time for Christmas. I have, several times over the last few years, bought cards with good intentions about sending them out, and then... didn't. But this year I intend to! For real!
We also grabbed some wrapping paper (which we probably didn't need), and so much soup, since that's about all Alex can eat.
But then we got home and suddenly I felt ~festive~.
So I put up our tree. It's just a little two-foot thing, but I like it.
Festive!
I thought about wrapping some presents, but instead did slightly more time-sensitive tasks. Figured out the people I want to send cards to and hunted down addresses. Nudged my mom and Taylor to give me their wish lists. Ordered one of the things Alex had wanted.
Most of the rest of my shopping will have to wait until Friday (payday), by which point hopefully my mom and Taylor will have let me know what they want, lol.
