Birthday swag!

Candy, an excellent card, a set of adorable frog stickers, a reversible plushie, and a very fancy journal! The journal is very pretty - I love the fastening and the color. The pages are also removable: they're hole punched, about note-card sized, so it could be refilled. (Which means I can be a little less afraid to use a "too nice" journal/notebook, lol.)

And he left in the package for me to see, just because it was so silly. It looks so angry at having been vacuum-sealed!

Alex also made me dinner. Salmon and pasta. (Though apparently while he was at the store, he was heading over to the fresh fish display, and some guy looked over at him, and then just BOOKED IT to get in front of him and grabbed ALL of the salmon they had, threw it in his cart, and rushed away. Like... WTF, random salmon hoarder? Alex got some smoked salmon instead, which was also very good.)

Unfortunately the salmon seems to have aggravated his stomach thing, so... we're sitting and seeing if that will calm down. If it does, we might go out for a bit. If not... it may be a quiet night in. I'm good with either, honestly.
