Updated Writing Goals/Calendar: July 2022

January - March
Completed two drafts of my WIP "Connections of the Heart", and began posting the new chapters.
April - May
Completed the rough draft and most of the second draft of "Island Territory", began posting.
How was June?
June
07 - finish draft 2 of Chapter 5 of IT - completed on June 17 (10 days late)
07 - post Chapter 4 of IT - posted on June 07, as planned
14 - post Chapter 5 of IT - posted on June 21 (7 days late)
Between June 14 - July 1: reread All Strange Wonders and make sure I'm happy with it for posting. - started on June 21, finished on June 29 (slightly delayed start)
*21 - make a moodboard/cover for ASW - did on June 28 (7 days late, though that was a pretty loose date.)
So... I got Covid in June. That derailed me... harder than I thought. That was basically just a lost damn week. I *wish* I'd been able to enjoy my time quarantining and being away from work, but it was sadly not a chance to catch up on creative personal stuff. Even so, I did actually complete everything I'd set out to do in June! Just... on a delay.
Newly revised goals:
July
Camp NaNo - I'm rewriting my Silent Hill fic "Outbreak" (realizing a story about a horrible mystery illness Just Hits Different after 2020, even if I did write the fic in 2016.) Not really planning on changing much, but it finally feels like it wouldn't be atrociously inappropriate to post it.
I've declared a goal of 25k for the month (~807 words/day.) I'm hoping for closer to 30k, and more would be even better, but I also know that we're going to be going on a small vacation in a couple weeks, so I don't want to over-commit.

19 - post Chapter 2 of ASW
August
I plan to continue working on Outbreak. If possible, I'd love to finish the new draft of it, though it may depend on how much is completed in July. Still, that will be my tentative goal, at least.

30 - post Chapter 5 of ASW

I'm tentatively planning that this may be when I start working on my zine fic. It depends a bit on what the schedule looks like, and whether I'm trying to get my stuff finished earlier for promo purposes. We'll see!

Once I know how to slot the zine fic in - including exactly how long it's going to be - I'll be able to figure out what else I might be working on, and a more specific week-by-week/date-specific schedule.
