Halloween stickers this week!
This was a pretty good week. I remain a bit disappointed in how October ended - I didn't really get to do all I'd hoped for the month, and the bad snow here on Sunday of this week really kind of killed the autumn vibes and made it hard to rally and enjoy Halloween itself. Even so, we did things and had fun. November started off with me trying to make a plan to get back on track with all the things I'd fallen behind on (and the decision to shamelessly cheat on NaNoWriMo to make all that catching up happen as part of my wordcount), and at least started pretty successfully!
Goals for the week:
- We did celebrate Halloween! (Went to see spiders, spent the day out browsing antiques, watched horror movies, ate too much candy...)
- I only kind of technically worked on AUgust fics by poking at an outline
- I did my October GYWO check-in (11765 words for October; YTD: 109662)
- I at least started to get caught up on tracking (even if I didn't get all the way there)
- We cleaned the apartment in prep for a possible random inspection (that did not happen)
- I did an "alumni verification" for my university, which was a waste of time and attempt to sell me stuff
- I did not replant my plants
- I did sort out sending a Paypal invoice for a writing project
- We got rent
- I declared a NaNoWriMo project (though with the aforementioned intent to cheat)
- We went to the Butterfly Pavilion to see their seasonal spiders
- We watched Over the Garden Wall, which is a seasonal must for me
