More October spooky month theme, with some crows and a crystal ball. This is another sticker by Glitterpunk.
This week started pretty rough. I was sick and it sucked, I had to cancel plans with Taylor over it, and just couldn't do much. I still ended up feeling like the week was reasonably productive by the end. I did get a lot of reviews written, even if that was later into the month than I was hoping. I did a decent amount of reading, though it's never as much as I hope I'm going to do. I did get a few more things done, and I feel a little less overwhelmed by how behind I am. (Of course, now I need to not let that relief make me slack off and get back to where it is overwhelming again, ha.)
And my reading for the week!
And for my "October Devotional":
- October 04: I stopped to look at the current color-change of the leaves on my walk
- October 05: Bella wore a cute sugar-skull bowtie when we went out
- October 06: Bought some cute Halloween things: a towel and a couple little dishes. Alex bought and surprised me with a fluffy Halloween blanket and an adorable plush.
- October 07: While it was still a very warm day, I tried to really appreciate the pleasant breeze.
- October 08: I spent a little while taking pictures of a butterfly I don't see very often.
- October 09: Someone painted some rocks and left them along the path, and they were very cute.
- October 10: I sorted through my pics from the concert a couple weeks ago (which would very much have been itself a candidate for the devotional, but it wasn't October yet, ha.)
Goals for the week:
- We did pay rent
- I paid car insurance
- I read Thirteen Storeys
- I started A Divided Duty
once I finally paid ransom to UPS for it(but forgot to check it off) - I continued reading Behold Her
- I caught up on my reviews from last month
- I continued working on getting caught up on DW, though not there yet
- I did put my laundry away
- I sorted through those concert pics
- I did not work on my reading page
- We did clean up for our annual bug inspection (the third this year. It's not annual; it means someone has bugs.)
- I continued my October Devotional
- We picked up the truck box from my mom's garage
- I did pick up my book from UPS (twice in a row they did not even attempt delivery, but just said "oops, sorry we missed you!" despite us being home, despite having a call box at the door if they need it unlocked, and despite having a parcel locker as a third option. They were going to return it to sender if they "missed" us again, so my only other option was to pay an additional fee for them to hold it at a pickup location. Very frustrating and feels like extortion.)
- I did not put the second batch of laundry away
- I did go to work early on Saturday, because my coworker was out sick
